PCISX4 - PCI Wearout Extender
PCISX4 is a wearout extender, designed to go on top of the PCIX32, PCIEX4 and PCILX4 extenders. It is a short and low cost extender with a heavy duty connector of 2000 - 3000 insertion cycles. Its purpose is to prolong the life of the other extenders in heavily used environment. It can also be used to prevent the I/O board's gold fingers from damage, when I/O boards are used to test the motherboards repeatedly. The PCISX4 is universal, it supports both VIO versions. The dimension is 4.3" L x 1.1" H.
